Why a SMART Mid West?
The 2008 Summit succeeded in bringing together over 120 important minds from across the region. Many important projects and ideas escalated from discussions that took place.
The 2009 Mid West Science Summit built on those 2008 achievements by working to establish a foundation of SMART collaboration and thinking enabled by the strategic use of technology.
This was NOT a strictly technical conference. It was about investigating ways to enhance the activities being undertaken by Mid West organisations, businesses and community groups and the advantages to be made from major science and technology projects taking place or proposed in the region.
